Aww... Sad, but sweet
Review by: BeeKay84 @ 11:18, Monday, October 29, 2007
Aww, that was such a sweet little story. I like the idea of it, though I also like the ending of CMI when Guybrush & Elaine get married. But I don't like the story of MI4 at all, so I'm glad you decided to make it into a dream here. I think both Guybrush and Elaine were very much in character and I enjoyed the dialogs, especially Elaine's explanations. But whenever it came to the topic of marriage, I almost cried (at least tears welled up in my eyes) at the sadness conveyed. But the end was so sweet again - even though Elaine said she wants them to stay friends (close friends, but not more), she wanted him to kiss her. =)
Hehe, and Murray, of course! *lol*
All in all: Great story!

Huzzah -- this is wonderful, Akril. And you're right, it definitely wouldn't have worked as straight prose, but it surely works as a script. I may not agree with certain parts of it, but I still like it. You've got the characters down (*especially* Elaine, egads, she's perfect!), and it seems a plausible enough explanation. The ending's just hilarious, too, of course. ;) Keep up the good work--I'm looking forward to reading any more MI fanfic you may write.
