Monkey Island is a mysterious island, which is very difficult to find. Despite this, many events have taken place here and many people have been on the island over the years. Herman used to live here before he moved to Dinky Island and now he lives here again. The Cannibals also used to inhabit the island, but they moved to Blood Island and their village is now used monkeys. The island has many beaches, a volcano, and a river. Most of it is covered by jungle though and it can be difficult getting from one side to the other. If you're looking for gold then you're too late, Herman has spent his time being productive and emptied the island's gold mine. Next to the volcano you'll find the odd "Church of LeChuck" Herman's old fort. The church is devoted to worshipping the evil ghost-zombie-demon pirate and the fort is very tiny. Should these thing bore you there is always the Giant Monkey Head to visit. This sculpture has many uses; it provides access to the lava rivers running under the island, it works as the gates of hell, and it's also the control room of a giant monkey robot. A rock with so many features is hard to come by. Be sure to visit Monkey Island if you like relaxation mixed with excitement, remember to bring a lifeboat, cruise ship or mobile phone though.
