How long do you have to wait after you make a post to make another one?

You wouldnt dare! o:lol:

BTW, why is there a waiting time anyways?

Do you remember this? :P
EDIT:
Well, the flood control is in place to prevent spammers from posting message after message, so releasing the control in that area would sort of defeat that purpose. However, I'm willing to decrease the time limit to 60 seconds or so, if more people are taking issue with it. I probably won't go lower than that though - see it as an encouragement to write more well thought out posts.

Just Joking o:p

Oh, I actually didn't remember that...

But yes, the reason is the same. It's to prevent people from flooding the board with senseless posts. Making a post something that you can't just slam onto the forum hopefully makes people think a bit more before they waste their post saying something useless, having to wait 150 seconds before being able to post another useless post. Um, right.

It does get rather annoying though when there's lots of topics to reply too and then you have to stay online for a few more minutes. Couldn't you just cut my post time thing down? :P

The only time it bothers me is when I'm away in Donegal and have to pay one euro per 15mins of internet access!!!

That's only 4 euros an hour.... At least you're just not being lazy like me. I just can't be bothered waiting. Sometimes, I'll just decide not to post things if I'm in a rush.
