LOL <--*note* I don't say that often o:)

Assuming I'm not dead when I'm 70, I doubt I'll still be playing video games. However, I just might have nothing better to do. It certainly beats sitting in a rocking chair, reminiscing, and griping about the younger generation's music (but it doesn't beat it by much).

And yet ... If MI is made when I'm 70, I expect that it will be a virtual, 3D experience, powered by heuristic algorithms and photon-lit force fields, like the Holodeck on Star Trek. If so, I can't think of one good reason not to experience a holographic, computer game... age, notwithstanding.

I feel MI5 probably will be released when I am around 70. I cannot see it being anytime soon. I would still definitely buy it, MI has been more a part of my childhood than anything else. I would still buy MI if I was 90. Monkey Island changed my outlook on life because of its humour. My opinion of games in general at that time were just improved versions of football and racing games. I never thought I would experience a game quite like the series that is Monkey Island.

This is probably the oddest question I've seen in quite a while and it really made my otherwise lousy day, to answer the question at hand, I have no idea, that's 50 years from now, I generalyl don't know what I'll be doing in a week from now or so.
Have you smelled the moral decay of the new day?

Let's hope they finish the story about Guybrush Threepwood before we all drop dead.

So? Play it in Heaven if it comes out before you die. That's what Heaven is- your paradise. Hopefully none of you are going downstairs tho... naw, just kidding.

Not to be the morbid one, but does anyone really think that Ron will actually make one when we become 70? I know it's just a poll, but he may not even be able to move by then.

Ron would be dead by then. No offense, but it's likely

How can anyone but Ron be offended by our speculating on his mortality. Anyway, Ron isn't really an issue. He had nothing to do with the last two Monkey Island games and they were released all the same. Ron could have died 13 years ago as far as the franchise is concerned.

Sure, I'll play MI5 whenever it's released. Just as long as it isn't released in chapters like the next Sam-n-Max. I sure hope this method of marketing isn't going to become the norm

Haha; what a great question! Just the kind of thing I love to see when digging through all these old posts!

I might play it, I'm not sure. I may try to get my grandkids hooked though.

It's really funny...my Grandpa isn't really interested in computers but he thinks Guybrush's name is hilarious, so I made him a little poster to hang up that has some picture and the name.

Hmmm, it's difficult to reply to this, because I really have no idea what I'll be like, what I'll be interested in, what I'll feel like doing, when I'm 70/80. The way I feel now is that I'll play any MI game whenever it comes out. In the next sixty-sevenety years, that could change. So, quite frankly, I can't really give a totally honest answer, though right now I feel like I'd play it.
By the way, I'll post here when I'm 70 and tell you all
Oh yeah? Well, you fight like a cow!
